Val Venosta - a special place in South Tyrol!

The enchanting Val Venosta valley stretches from Naturno near Merano to the west up to Resia Pass with the source of the Adige River.

The valley is located between the glaciers of the Ortler and Wei├čkugel Mountains and enjoys an airy and windy climate. Thanks to its unique position it offers a natural and cultural variety, which is enhanced by a seasonal change.

Enchanting culture landscapes, impressive mountains, historic village centres, cultural and traditional specialties, and varied leisure time offers await visitors.

Simply visit the alpine village of Solda for example. It is surrounded by the highest mountains in Tyrol, the almost 4000 m high Ortles Mountain, Gran Zebru and Zebru Mountains. In addition to breathtaking high-alpine tours, the village also offers numerous hiking paths for pleasure hikers. Solda is always blessed with snow in winter and therefore awaits you with a great variety of slopes.

Also visit the Senales Valley, which offers many possibilities for visitors in summer and winter: splendid mountain scenery amidst the Wei├čkugel Mountain massif, Vernagt Lake, an all-year ski resort, the Archeoparc active museum, and a lot of culture and traditions!
