Ham dumplings with salad
- Ham dumplings in a soup


Chop the bread into small cubes and moisten with a glass of lukewarm milk. Chop the ham into tiny cubes and separate them apart. Fry the chopped onion with the fatty ham pieces in oil with a knob of butter until brown; let it cool down and add to the bread. Add the remaining ham and a handful of chopped parsley, flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg and mix the bread thoroughly. Beat the eggs and half a glass of milk together and pour over the bread. Knead thoroughly with your hands. Form 8 dumplings of equal size with wet hands. Put them into boiling salt water and boil slowly for about 20 minutes.

4 stale bread rolls
1.5 glasses of milk
100 g Recla Speck
2 eggs
1/2 onion
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp oil
